      Chris Smith

      Chief Executive Officer

      Mr. Smith is the founder and CEO of Allegiance Realty Corporation. He has over 25 years of real estate investment, finance, management, brokerage, commercial construction and consulting experience. Mr. Smith has been a principal in projects valued in excess of $1 billion and exceeding 8 million square feet including office, hotel, industrial, residential and retail. He was the co-founder and president of American Property Global Partners, the forebearer to Allegiance Realty Corporation.

      In 2008 Chris founded the Allegiance Foundation, an organization dedicated to improving the communities in which we live and work to make meaningful changes with human and financial capital. Chris also served as a board member for Easter Seals UCP North Carolina Board of Directors, Easter Seals Advisory Board and Allegro Foundation. In 2009 Chris was appointed by the Governor to the North Carolina Banking Commission as a public member to serve a 3 1/2 year term.

    • Lisa Quinn

      Lisa Quinn

      Chief Financial Officer

      Lisa Quinn joined Allegiance Realty Corporation in 2002, as Chief Financial Officer. Responsible for all financial, accounting, tax, and administrative areas of the company, Lisa is directly involved with all investment purchase and sales transactions. She also oversees the cash management, accounting and financial reporting functions of Allegiance's real estate investments.

      Prior to joining Allegiance, Lisa worked for 15 years at Ernst & Young as a tax senior manager, with most of her experience servicing closely held companies and their owners. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Accounting from Bryant University and a Masters in Taxation from the University of Hartford. She's a licensed CPA, member of the American Institute of CPAs and NC Association of CPAs. Lisa serves as a board member for Allegiance Foundation.

    • Sonya Karpowich

      Sonya Karpowich

      Chief Operating Officer

      Sonya Karpowich joined Allegiance Realty Corporation as General Counsel in 2011 and has transitioned to COO as of 2017. Sonya is a member of the State Bar of California since 1995 and the District of Columbia, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

      She was a former real estate associate at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Cox, Castle & Nicholson LLP in Los Angeles where she developed extensive experience in real estate transactions in efficiently structuring, negotiating and documenting purchase and sale and finance transactions in connection with all types of real estate assets.

      Sonya attended the University of Southern California earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance and Entrepreneurship graduating with honors, Phi Beta Kappa, Beta Gamma Sigma and Golden Key Honor Society, in 1991. After USC, she joined a USC Alumni in Washington D.C. to structure a business plan for a start-up company in the newly emerging industry of what was then called “wireless cable” (now known as satellite television). In 1992, She attended Southwestern University in Los Angeles obtaining her Juris Doctorate with Magna Cum Laude honors and participating as a member and an Editor of Law Review.

      Bill Littlefield

      General Counsel

      Mr. Littlefield joined Allegiance Realty as General Counsel in 2017. With nearly 30 years of direct experience in structuring and executing commercial real estate transactions, Mr. Littlefield has provided advisory and/or legal services for the acquisition, refinancing or sale of over 300 commercial real estate properties representing asset values in excess of $3.0 Billion over the course of several business cycles. He began his career in the private practice of law in 1986, and subsequently was the founder and managing partner of the law firm of Burn Littlefield & Pacitti, PC. Mr. Littlefield has been a member of the State Bar of New Mexico since 1986, holds a JD from the University of New Mexico School of Law and an MBA from the Robert O. Anderson Graduate School of Management at the University of New Mexico.

    • Jay Lapham

      Jay Lapham

      Asset Manager

      Mr. Lapham joined Allegiance Realty in 2015 as an Asset Manager. With over 15 years of experience in leasing and management, he is responsible for the on-site, day-to-day management of the Allegiance Realty portfolio in Connecticut. Prior to joining Allegiance Realty, Mr. Lapham served as a Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle in New York City. He assisted in the leasing and management of over 8 million square feet, spanning across 20 properties. Representing both landlords and tenants, Mr. Lapham negotiated and executed 2.1 million square feet of lease transactions during his tenure. Mr. Lapham earned a BS in economics from Williams College, and an MBA from Duke University’s The Fuqua School of Business. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of New York and a Certified Commercial Investment Member candidate pursuing the CCIM designation.
